Unraveling the Myth of Abundance: A teacher's Guide to the Okanagan Basin Waterscape Poster

(Requires Adobe Reader 7 or later)

"Okanagan Waterscape: Unraveling the Myth of Abundance Program 2008"

In the fall of 2007, SOKS developed an outreach program with hands-on activities. Over 600 children, teachers, and families have partaken in this engaging and thought-provoking program so far. With funding from the Okanagan Basin Water Board (link: www.obwb.ca/index), and the Central Okanagan Gaming Association, these presentations are able to continue through the spring of 2008. These presentations draw activities from the teacher's Guide to give your group a well-rounded portrait of our watershed. Presentations are free of charge and meet BC Prescribed Learning Outcomes.

To book this program call 763 4427 or e-mail us at sokstaff1@soks.ca

An Okanagan Basin Waterscape poster will be delivered to those who book a presentation.

This poster is one of a series of posters in an initiative called Geoscapes Canada: http://geoscape.nrcan.gc.ca/index_e.php
